Today's run was another easy 10 miler. I always get nervous for these runs after running a lot the day before, but oddly enough, I always feel better! I guess that's a good thing that I can run well on fatigue! I took it nice and slowly and ended with a 9:00 average pace. I even sprinted telephone poles the last mile I felt so good! My Camelbak is probably one of the best things I have invested money in for my running. I absolutely love it!
Another energy gel review:
Chocolate Peanut Butter: A+++..... If you know me, you know my love of peanut butter, so this stuff was great! Once again, I would never just eat these gels as a random snack during the day, but I definitely would eat this again during another one of my long runs/races!

Yoga is something that I have wanted to try for a while now, so I decided to buy a beginner's book of yoga, and I have been religiously practicing different poses each day, trying to gain for flexibility and balance, and I'm definitely improving. It is actually really difficult for me, and I knew it would be. I am so inspired by the people who can do yoga so easily, but I know it takes years of practice, just like running does. It is really great for me too because I am not very good at stretching my muscles, and by doing yoga, I am stretching the hard to reach places. I find it really fun and relaxing, even addicting! Eventually I hope to do all of the really cool poses, but for now it's the basic down dogs, butterflies, and warriors. I have tried a shoulder stand and did somewhat OK. I try it everyday and get straighter and straighter each time, but I'm nowhere near perfect and probably never will be! Here's a picture for you to laugh at:
Something exciting I ate yesterday: Sushi!! If you've never had sushi from the Big Y, I would highly recommend it. It may not be as good as sushi from an actual restaurant, but it's fresh and made right in front of you that day.
Questions to ponder:
What is something exciting you ate yesterday? Have you ever done yoga? Do you take energy gels when running?
Happy Sunday, enjoy your day!!
