Good morning y'all! So usually I take Friday off from all exercise, but since I am running the Falmouth Road Race on Sunday, I decided to do my 10 mile run today and take Saturday off instead. I SO BADLY wanted to stay in bed this morning. My body was tired and desperately wanted rest, but I knew I had to get this run done. Once I got running, I felt a lot better, and the run went better than I thought it would. I maintained an average of an 8:46 pace, and I conquered some major hills! I brought some fuel along with me, but I didn't end up needing it. I felt like I had enough energy to get through the 10 miles.
In order to make sure I complete my strength training, I downloaded and app called 30DAYS. You pick all of the strength exercises you want to focus on, and then you do a baseline test to see how many reps of a certain exercise you can complete comfortably. I decided on:
-Bridges
-Squats
-Leg lifts
-Pushups
-Planks
I did the baseline test yesterday, and this morning I started with day 1. I did all the reps that the app told me to do based on what I did yesterday, and once I finished, I checked DONE. Now, I will complete more reps tomorrow based on what I did today! It's really great and I actually enjoy the challenge!

An egg sandwich with chicken, hummus, and Go Veggie Cheese, with broccoli, snow peas, and pretzels on the side. (the dog wanted some)
A salad with mandarin chicken and a warm roll on the side
